Lamego - Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios

PT// Visita ao Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédio, com inicio  na avenida central de Lamego (Dr. Alfredo de Sousa) onde podemos observar a  imponente escadaria barroca com 686 degraus que sobe até ao alto de um morro uma que termina num santuário rocaille do séc. XVIII. Lá de cima confirmamos a sua imponência e observamos os detalhes das fontes e Igreja, complementado com imagens de drone. EN// Visit to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédio, starting on the central avenue of Lamego (Dr. Alfredo de Sousa) where we can see the imposing baroque staircase with 686 steps that goes up to the top of a hill, one that ends in a rocaille sanctuary from the 17th century. XVIII. From above, we confirmed its grandeur and observed the details of the fountains and Church, complemented with drone footage.

Lamego - Castelo de Lamego

PT// Passeio pelo antigo burgo do Castelo de Lamengo com entrada pela porta dos Figos e percorrendo as ruas estreitas até ao Castelo. Subimos a torre de menagem que nos dá uma vista priveligiada sobre a cidade. Visitámps depois a Cisterna e o Nucleo Arqueológico. Antes de seguirmos para o próximo destino, passagem pela Igreja de Santa Maria de Almacave e o Jardim da República junto à Câmara Municipal de Lamego. EN// Walk through the old town of Castelo de Lamengo, entering through the Porta dos Figos and walking through the narrow streets to the Castle. We climbed the keep that gives us a privileged view over the city. Then visit the Cistern and the Archaeological Nucleus. Before heading to the next destination, we will pass by the Church of Santa Maria de Almacave and the Jardim da República next to Lamego City Hall.

Vila Pouca de Aguiar - Highlights

PT// Ao Km 35 da Estrada Nacional 2 chegamos a Vila Pouca de Aguiar. Sem sair da EN2 encontramos à entrada um Mural de arte Urbana e mais à frente numa rotunda uma Anta megalitica. Efetuámos dois pequenos desvios, primeiro até ao Miradouro de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, que nos dá uma visão sobre toda a cidade e depois fomos até à Lagoa do Alvão, também conhecida como Barragem da Falperra, onde a paisagem é soberba. EN// At Km 35 of Estrada Nacional 2 we arrive at Vila Pouca de Aguiar. Without leaving the EN2, you will find an Urban Art Mural at the entrance and further ahead in a roundabout a megalithic Tapir. We made two small detours, first to the Miradouro de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, which gives us a view over the whole city and then we went to Lagoa do Alvão, also known as the Falperra Dam, where the landscape is superb.
