Tamatave – Fort Manda (Costa Victoria Excursion)

PT// Visita às muralhas do Forte Manda, uma estrutura do século XIX construída para o rei Radama I. Caminhamos pelas ruínas, explorando os corredores e quartos que permanecem intactos. A fortificação não era feita de pedra, era feita de coral, casca de ovo e areia. As paredes elevam-se até 8 m, e em certos lugares tem 6 m de espessura. Vários canhões antigos ainda ocupam suas posições originais, voltados para os terrenos abertos. Dos pontos mais altos da fortaleza, podemos contemplar o horizonte do Oceano Índico. EN// Visit to the walls of Fort Manda, a 19th-century structure built for king Radama I. We walked the ruins, exploring the corridors and rooms that remain intact. The fortification was not stone-made, it was made with coral, eggshells, and sand. The walls rise as high as 8 m, and in certain places stand 6 m thick. Several old cannons still occupy their original positions, aimed towards the open grounds. From the stronghold's higher points, we can contemplate the Indian Ocean's horizon.

Nosy Komba – Ampangorinana (Costa Victoria Excursion)

PT// A visita a Ampangorinana, em Nosy Komba (Madagascar) é uma das experiências que nos marca. O primeiro impacto é o contacto com a população local, principalmente com uma enorme quantidade de crianças que tão pouco têm e ao mesmo tempo transparecem felicidade.  Efetuámos um passeio pela aldeia, percorrendo as bancas de artesanato, até ao parque natural onde é possível observar alguns dos animais da ilha: iguanas, tartarugas e os lémures, que aqui são reis e interagem com que lhes dê um pouco de banana.  Após o almoço houve tempo para passear junto à praia e recolher belas imagens. EN// The visit to Ampangorinana in Nosy Komba (Madagascar) is one of the experiences that marks us. The first impact is the contact with the local population, mainly with a huge number of children who have so little and yet transpire happiness.   We made a tour of the village, traversing the craft stalls, to the natural park where you can see some of the island's animals: iguanas, tortoises and lemurs, here they are kings and interact with to give them a little banana.  After lunch there was time to stroll along the beach and collect beautiful pictures.

Nosy Tanikely - Plage Principale (Costa Victoria Excursion)

PT// Nosy Tanikely é uma pequena ilha próxima de Nosy Be (a maior e mais movimentada estância turística de Madagáscar). O Costa Victoria ancorou ao largo de Nosy Be e fomos transportados num pequeno barco local até à Plage Principale de Nosy Tanikely. Aí foi possível desfrutar da belíssima praia e fazer snorkeling. Imagens de alguns cardumes que vinham até perto da praia para se alimentar. EN// Nosy Tanikely is a small island close to Nosy Be (the largest and busiest tourist resort in Madagascar). The Costa Victoria anchored off Nosy Be and we were transported in a small local boat to Nosy Tanikely's Plage Principale. There it was possible to enjoy the beautiful beach and snorkeling. Images of some shoals that came close to the beach to feed.

PT// O Jardim Botânico de Victoria (também chamado Jardim Botânico de Mont Fleuri Seychelles) nas Seychelles foi fundado em 1901, cheio de riachos e pássaros, as principais atrações são as palmeiras de coco-de-mer ao longo da entrada principal. Há também um bosque de especiarias, um santuário de tartarugas gigantes e uma parte de floresta tropical com morcegos frugívoros. EN// The Victoria Botanical Gardens (also called Mont Fleuri Botanical Gardens Seychelles) in Seychelles was established in 1901, full of streams and birdsong, the star attractions are the coco de mer palms lining the main alley.
