No entanto, ficam aqui alguns dos destaques da vila de Peso da Régua: o cais da Régua, a Igreja Matriz, estação ferroviária, mural de azulejos e a vista das pontes. EN// On a rainy day, it was not easy to capture some of the images as the wind shook the umbrella and, in turn, the camera. However, here are some of the highlights of the village of Peso da Régua: the Régua wharf, the Mother Church, the train station, the tile mural and the view of the bridges.

Alijó - Pinhão

PT// No diz em que visitámos a vila de Pinhão a tranquilidade prevalecia e transmitia uma verdadeira sensação de relaxamento. A vista sobre o Douro e as suas vinhas completam o cenário. PT// Efetuámos o percurso pela Estrada Nacional 222 até Pinhão, com vistas deslumbrantes sobre o Douro e as suas vinhas. Paragem no Miradouro de Adorigo. Infelizmente o tempo chuvoso e o nevoeiro não permitiu um melhor aproveitamento do dia.  EN// We took the route along Estrada Nacional 222 to Pinhão, with stunning views over the Douro and its vineyards. Stop at the Adorigo Viewpoint. Unfortunately the rainy weather and fog did not allow for a better use of the day.

Vila Real - Walking Tour

Vila Pouca de Aguiar - Highlights

PT// Ao Km 35 da Estrada Nacional 2 chegamos a Vila Pouca de Aguiar. Sem sair da EN2 encontramos à entrada um Mural de arte Urbana e mais à frente numa rotunda uma Anta megalitica. Efetuámos dois pequenos desvios, primeiro até ao Miradouro de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, que nos dá uma visão sobre toda a cidade e depois fomos até à Lagoa do Alvão, também conhecida como Barragem da Falperra, onde a paisagem é soberba. EN// At Km 35 of Estrada Nacional 2 we arrive at Vila Pouca de Aguiar. Without leaving the EN2, you will find an Urban Art Mural at the entrance and further ahead in a roundabout a megalithic Tapir. We made two small detours, first to the Miradouro de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, which gives us a view over the whole city and then we went to Lagoa do Alvão, also known as the Falperra Dam, where the landscape is superb.

Chaves - Walking Tour

PT// A cidade de Chaves acordou envolta em neblina, o que transformou o inicio do passeio ainda mais espetacular face à atmosfera mística que transmitiu à cidade. Percorremos os principais pontos a visitar: Ponte de Trajano, KM0 da Nacional 2, Poldras, Igreja Matriz de Santa Maria Maior, Castelo, jardins... (por ser 2ª feira outros sítios encontravam-se fechados). Ao longo do dia a neblina dissipou-se e conseguimos boas imagens já com o azul do céu a colorir as belas paisagens de Chaves. EN// The city of Chaves woke up shrouded in fog, which made the beginning of the tour even more spectacular in view of the mystical atmosphere that it transmitted to the city. We visited the main points to visit: Ponte de Trajano, KM0 of Nacional 2, Poldras, Igreja Matriz de Santa Maria Maior, Castle, gardens... (because it was a Monday, other places were closed). Throughout the day the fog dissipated and we got good pictures with the blue sky coloring the beautiful landscapes of Chaves.

Percorremos depois as suas vielas que nos levam até alguns monumentos de interesse. EN// Alcácer do Sal is graciously laid out over the right bank of the Sado river and rising up a gentle slope. On the walking tour of Alcácer do Sal we observe the most enchanting part of this city, the colors of the morning allowed to obtain excellent reflections in the River Sado. You can take your time strolling through the vast garden, climbing the walls and enjoying the views.   Comfortable room and good breakfast.
