Log of the Cruise – Princess Cays 27th November 2016


(The following log features extracts from the Ship’s Official Log Book, with the entries recorded by the Officer of the Watch on the Navigational Bridge - 4-Day East Caribbean Sampler - November, 26 - November, 30, 2016)

 After departure from Port EvergladesRoyal Princess set south-easterly courses through the North West Providence Channel. Once in the channel, south-easterly courses took us through the North East Providence Channel to the Northern tip of Eleuthera Island. We then navigated along the coast of the island at a range of approximately 6 nautical miles to Eleuthera Point. When in position, we cleared away the anchor and the order to "let go the anchor" was given at 08:28 LT. Soon after, when it had been deemed safe, the ship tenders were be made ready for our continuous tender service ashore. At 16:27 LT, with all tenders re-secured we "heaved up" our anchor and we set a south-easterly course on our way to Grand Turk.
