Log of the Cruise – Saint Kitts & Nevis 6th December 2016

(The following log features extracts from the Ship’s Official Log Book, with the entries recorded by the Officer of the Watch on the Navigational Bridge - 10-Day Eastern Caribbean - November, 30 - December, 10, 2016)  Early this morning, we made our way north-west over Greanada Basin where the depth can get as deep as 3000 m or 9800 ft. We approached Saint Kitts from the south, collected the local pilot at 09:14 and made our way onto the berth. In the evening, at 17:32, when all passengers and crew were onboard, Royal Princess set a north-westerly course towards Saint Thomas passing the island of Saba on our port side with a distance of 4 nautical miles (4.6 statute miles).
