PT// Visita às muralhas do Forte Manda, uma estrutura do século XIX construída para o rei Radama I. Caminhamos pelas ruínas, explorando os corredores e quartos que permanecem intactos. A fortificação não era feita de pedra, era feita de coral, casca de ovo e areia. As paredes elevam-se até 8 m, e em certos lugares tem 6 m de espessura. Vários canhões antigos ainda ocupam suas posições originais, voltados para os terrenos abertos. Dos pontos mais altos da fortaleza, podemos contemplar o horizonte do Oceano Índico. Visit to the walls of Fort Manda, a 19th-century structure built for king Radama I. We walked the ruins, exploring the corridors and rooms that remain intact. The fortification was not stone-made, it was made with coral, eggshells, and sand. The walls rise as high as 8 m, and in certain places stand 6 m thick.
