Iraklion - Knossos

PT// Knossos é o maior sítio arqueológico da Idade do Bronze em Creta e foi considerado a cidade mais antiga da Europa. O local de Knossos teve uma longa história de presença humana, começando com a fundação do primeiro assentamento neolítico (c. 7000 aC). Situado próximo da cidade moderna de Heraklion, atualmente Knossos é visitado por muitos turistas, que visitam a "reconstrução" imaginativa feita a partir das ruínas que existiam no local. The site of Knossos has had a very long history of human habitation beginning with the founding of the first Neolithic settlement (c. 7000 BCE). Situated close to the modern city of Heraklion, today Knossos is visited by many tourists, who visit the imaginative "reconstruction" made from the ruins that once stood there.
