PT// Localizadas em Porto Cristo, a cerca de uma hora de Palma, as Cuevas del Drach (Caves do Dragão) são um dos pontos turísticos da ilha de Maiorca. Percorremos um caminho de 1200 metros, 25 metros abaixo do nível do solo, onde no fim da visita, assistimos a um concerto de música clássica, com uma acústica fantástica, seguido de um curto passeio de barco, por um dos maiores lagos subterrâneos do mundo, o Lago Martel. EN// Located in Porto Cristo, one hour from Palma, Cuevas del Drach (Caves of Drach) is one of the tourist attractions on the island of Mallorca. We walked a path of 1200 meters, 25 meters below ground level, where at the end of the visit, we attended a concert of classical music, with fantastic acoustics, followed by a short boat trip, through one of the largest underground lakes in the world, the Lake Martel. |

Taormina - Walking Tour (MSC Seaside Excursion)

PT// Pequena terrinha turística, mas com uma história para contar. Na rua principal encontramos várias casinhas e igrejas (e casas que eram igrejas). Há um concurso anual de varandas floridas, pelo que, algumas destas apresentam-se assim todo o ano. No início e no fim da rua principal encontramos as portas em forma de arco que delimitam a entrada da cidade, a “Porta Catania” e a “Porta Messina” . Visita ainda ao Teatro Grego, com uma vista fabulosa para as praias, para a cidade de Taormina e para o Vulcão Etna. EN// Visit to Taormina, which is about 45 minutes away from Messina and yes, well worth it. Small tourist land, with a story to tell. In the main street we find several small houses and churches (and houses that were churches). There is an annual contest of flowered balconies, so some of these are presented all year round. PT// Fizemos uma pequena paragem na Duomo de Messina. Uma grande praça a envolve e o campanário tem um relogio solar e lunar, com informação dos signos e várias imagens douradas a contar a sua história. Tem uma imponente porta à entrada, com várias imagens e estátuas, no cimo uma imagem de Pietat, da Nossa Senhora com Jesus ao colo, bem bonita e chamativa. Por dentro, mostra a imponência da duomo, com um teto trabalhado e algumas imagens e estátuas nas várias capelas laterais. A paragem seguinte foi num miradouro junto ao Panteão, onde temos uma vista de Messina e do navio MSC Seaside, com toda a sua beleza e sendo o primeiro porto, é sempre um momento histórico. EN// A short stop at the Duomo of Messina, with a large square and the steeple has a solar and lunar clock, with information of the signs and several golden images to tell its history.
