(The following log features extracts from the Ship’s Official Log Book, with the entries recorded by the Officer of the Watch on the Navigational Bridge - 10-Day Eastern Caribbean - November, 30 - December, 10, 2016) On departure from St. Thomas, Royal Princess set a northwesterly course through the Nares Abyssal Plain (Atlantic Ocean) after passing the Island of Puerto Rico on our port side. Throughout the day, we continued on a north-easterly course passing north of Turks and Caicos Islands. Late this night, we passed 5 nautical miles (5.7 statute miles) to the north of Harbour Island before making our final approach to Nassau.
