(The following log features extracts from the Ship’s Official Log Book, with the entries recorded by the Officer of the Watch on the Navigational Bridge - 10-Day Eastern Caribbean - November, 30 - December, 10, 2016) In the early hours of this morning, we made a series of west and north-westerly courses as we approach the port of Saint Thomas. We picked up the local pilot and made our way through the buoyed channel where we were alongside by 06:26. In the evening, at 16:58, when all our lines were onboard and all pre-departure checks had been completed, Royal Princess proceeded with an initial south course out of Saint Thomas until we passed Saba Island at a distance of 2 NM on our starboard side and then altered to starboard as we made our way to Nassau.
