EN// Another rainy morning on the inaugural call of Ruby Princess in Liverpool. We opted for an excursion to a locality nearby, Chester! Some images on the way to it.

Descrição da Excursão em princess.com:
"Your tour begins as you board your motorcoach and travel southwest from Liverpool on a drive to Chester.
Chester was founded by the Romans in 75 AD and began life as a permanent garrison. Portions of the original Roman walls are still visible. Upon arriving, you'll have free time to explore this medieval city now bustling with vibrant 21st century life. You'll witness the city's historic towers and ancient gates, as well as its unique 13th-century "rows," half-timbered galleried shops on two stories. You'll also pass grand Georgian homes and medieval streets among exclusive shops and restaurants.
You'll make your way to the Chester Cathedral, a 13th-century Norman cathedral that was originally an abbey church, and the site of Handel's his first public performance of "The Messiah" in 1742. Chester was raised to cathedral status following Henry VIII's dissolution of the monasteries in 1550. Inside, you'll witness its superb carved wooden choir stalls.
You'll also have an opportunity to snap a photo of the Eastgate Clock, a prominent landmark in the city of Chester, said to be the most photographed clock in England after Big Ben.
Next, you're on your own to enjoy lunch and explore this medieval town. After 2 1/2 hours, you'll board your motorcoach for your return drive to Liverpool."
